Main role:

- Assist the team members and the outlet supervisor in the smooth operation of the restaurant and production of goods  and services through the resources available to him/her.

- To welcome and seat the customers promptly by allocating them evenly in the restaurant under the general guidance and direction of the Outlet Manager or his/her delegate and within the limits of the established InterContinental Hotels Group policies and procedures.

Responsible for:

- Punctual in attendance to check station is fully equipped to render to guests.

- Makes sure that all staff are following and maintaining the highest quality standards of operation in accordance with hotel service procedures.

- Recommends to promote up selling and and take order from the guest, follows up and ensure that this carried out to the last detail.

- Coordinates with staff assigned station as well as with other Captains.

- Guest satisfaction must always be checked and any problems encountered must be relayed to Head Waitress or Outlet Supervisor.

- Coordinates with Kitchen and Bar with regards to menus, wines, buffet, out-of-stock items and other significant details that are important to the outlet.

- Responsible in settling House accounts, Room Charges, Officers checks, Cash and Credit card payments, and City ledgers in Micros. Responsible as well in the remittance of Cash and Cash Floats at the end of each shift.

- Perform other duties as required by the Outlet Supervisor or Manager.
