Job Description and Qualification:

Job Requirements: To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following skills and experience:

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Preparation and analysis of financial statements and reports on a monthly basis. 
2. Preparation of annual budgets and forecasts 
3. Preparation of audit reports and coordination with Internal and External Auditors 
4. Managing the daily operations of Accounting and Admin Section. 
5. Monitoring receivables ensuring timely collection 
6. Monitoring of payables and ensuring timely and accurate payments to local and overseas suppliers 
7. Monitoring company finances making sure that use of overdraft facility is maximized but not exceeded 
8. Managing payroll for the employees 
9. Hiring and training Accounting and Admin Staff 
10. Reviewing staff, identifying areas for improvement and trainings required. 
11. Other duties as required 
12. Carry out other relevant duties as required by the Divisional Financial Controller and/or General Manager. 

1. Recognized Accounting Qualification 
2. Member of a Professional Accounting Association 
3. Proficient personal computer skills including record keeping, routine database management 
4. Management and leadership

1. Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in an accounting role including three (3) years at a management level 

Other requirements: 
1. Excellent communication skills 
2. Ability to work in a cross-cultural environment 
3. Ability to present business reports and initiatives to upper management. 
4. Possess conceptual and analytical skills 5. Able to travel to other centres in PNG
